The way I understand your problem is that the cycle will start at 50 degrees, but if the temperature was 70-90 and then abruptly dropped to 50, it would not start!!! A drop of 30 degrees would shrink the inside gas in the tank and therefor this would cause a vacuum in an un-vented tank---right? Am I on the right track, in my thinking??
